I’m Cassidy Rose; I’m 22, and this blog is an outlet for me to wrestle with the beautiful, unanswerable questions of life. I love to read, write, swim in the ocean, play my Celtic harp, and have deep conversations about life and faith. I’m studying journalism and philosophy at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego.

The name of this blog is inspired by the story of the Virgin of Guadalupe. In 1531 Mother Mary appeared to a man named Juan Diego, who was fighting anxiety and trying to figure out the world. His uncle was dying, and he was entering a season of deep hopelessness. Mary appeared and urged him to be faithful and unafraid. To prove this was true, she left him fresh, vibrant red roses in the middle of winter.

Like roses in winter, we are miracles.

Thank you so much for spending your time with me.
